GJ 3090 b: one of the most favourable mini-Neptune for atmospheric characterisation

We report the detection of GJ 3090 b (TOI-177.01), a mini-Neptune on 2.9-day orbit transiting bright (K = 7.3 mag) M2 dwarf located at 22 pc. The planet was identified by Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite and confirmed with High Accuracy Radial velocity Planet Searcher radial velocities. Seeing-limited photometry speckle imaging rule out nearby eclipsing binaries. Additional transits were observed LCOGT, Spitzer, ExTrA telescopes. characterise star to have mass 0.519 $\pm$ 0.013 M$_\odot$ radius 0.516 0.016 R$_\odot$. modelled transit light curves measurements obtained planetary 3.34 0.72 M$_\oplus$, 2.13 0.11 R$_\oplus$, mean density 1.89$^{+0.52}_{-0.45}$ g/cm$^3$. low implies presence volatiles, its insolation place it immediately above valley lower end cluster. A coupled atmospheric dynamical evolution analysis is inconsistent pure H-He atmosphere favours heavy molecular weight atmosphere. transmission spectroscopy metric 221$^{+66}_{-46}$ means that second or third most favourable after 1214 whose may be characterised. At almost half b, an excellent probe edge transition between super-Earths mini-Neptunes. identify additional signal in data we attribute candidate orbital period 13 days 17.1$^{+8.9}_{-3.2}$ are not detected.
